Lets talk about monking with H/H
Im sure this topic have been brought up before, but lets discss it now fresh with new changes and so on. And I do believe it belongs on this forum more then Heroe AI, because ... its more about the monk role itself.
I have been trying both Sabway and discord way, and I am so so..Running a prot monk on SABWAY works I guess but, maybe Hybrid is better.
What do you run? Maybe a balance team? I tried running a healing monk myself using prot henchmen changing N/Rt for a Kahmu with Melandru build and draw conditions.
When you H/H HM missions or vanquish, what you do.
Before everyone bascially went Ursan with SABWAY which was good. But Nowadays. what to do?
discuss.

I've never used Ursan or sabway (except for ursan in DoA) and as for what I've done, I've always gone with monk/nec/rit heroes, though I sometimes change out the nec hero when MM isn't useful, and swap out the rit for a smiter monk in undead areas.

You used that for H/H HM missions?
What kind of rit you used?

From the standpoint of you being monk, you just play standard hybrid. Heroes will depend on the area. Sabway works reasonably well, but I often swapped out for barrage rangers, earthshaker warrior, rt/n minion bomber, rt/e hybrid warder, etc.
You have a lot of flexibility in your hero builds because you're a monk - as long as you sprinkle some damage mitigation amongst your midline skillbars you can get away with pretty much anything.

i've used Sabway + BHA Ranger or SF/mindblast ele and henchs 1 mo 1 ele 1 mes and R or N
Or then Support para + SS + MM + SF + 2 hench monks
I play Necro Primary.. . so
As a Monker myself i use MM + 2 SF eles or 2 Paras & MM and with 2 paras i dont use other healers then myself.

Pleikki, i jus read your post a couple of times, and I have a hard time making any sense of what you writing.
YOu used Sabway + BHA ranger`? YOu talking about another heroe from a friend or you talking about ZHO in eotn? Or you talking about you use BHA ranger or a SF ranger if you DONT use sabway, and top it off with ...no.. dont get it
Or then support para? Wtf, are you a paragon or monk? if you are a paragon then i guess you replying to post does not make any sense either.
Im confused

As for your request, on other characters I just have the monk run word of healing, but on my monk I have dunk bring unyielding aura for me to mimic, and then bring with healer's boon for myself. I swap the rit for a warrior hero and make them run dual succor full adrenaline, to succor dunk and myself and compensate for the degen from unyielding.

What s/he means is if they have 2 paragon heros with them they don't feel the need for more than 1 monk.

Well I basically used spellbreaker, prot spirit and "I am Unstoppable!" To vanquish areas if I was on my own with h/h.
Flagged h/h back and lured then tanked on a corner, while h/h wiped the mob out from behind me. I usually took a mm and ss necro hero with 3rd spot for whatever I felt would help me in that area usually an ele, mes or rit.
I tend to never use any melee h/h.

He stated he was a necro so he would run the SS, Hero MM, and Hero N/Rt healer that leave the final Hero slot open for the BHA hero or the Ele hero.
As for the other half he stated

Paras do alot of dmg reduc and negating so hes healing capabilities allow him to be the only healer.
Get it. Got it. Good.

On my ele, Shock Axe Koss and WoH Tahlkora were glued to spot 1 and 2, hero 3 was normally either MoW as a minon master or some gimmick hero designed for the specific area I was going in to. For henchmen, I usually took a warrior, an alternate melee (dervish or assassin), either a ranger, mesmer, or a second elementalist, and a monk. I guess you could say it was a balanced team, but it got me through all of normal mode for Nightfall, Factions, and EotN, as well as most of hard mode for said campaigns. I don't really have a lot of experience with the areas of prophecies, so I can't help you there.

Koss uses it well, and his damage is way better than some lame adrenaline-based sword build almost everyone uses with him. But hey, different strokes for different folks.

Somehow I doubt that your shock axe has "way better" damage than "lame" perma-DS builds that get +38 on every hit.
